ABOUT
Grown by Extremes. Guided by Intention.
St. Avalo was born from the belief that great wine doesn’t need to shout. Located in the lush Santa Ynez Valley of Santa Barbara, our vineyard is defined by a unique terroir—not unlike what you would find in Italy. Low water, rich soil & a deep respect for the land. We aim to honor the grapes of yesteryear & showcase the best of what the Central Coast has to offer.
We're here because of you, and we're thrilled that you're here.

2022 Vermentino
Club favorite & best seller.
Tasting Notes
The Vermentino grape produces wines that are bright, clean, and crisp, with distinctive citrus character, refreshing acidity, and surprising richness. A lively and crisp white wine with tropical aromas of sweetened honeydew melon, white peach, and citrus complemented by a bright acidity and subtle minerality on the finish.
Wooly aromas of wet clay and damp fabric are earthy on the nose of this bottling. That cotton-like element shows on the palate as well, cut by lime peel and grapefruit flesh flavors.
